Each year Kamaroi Steiner School offers a limited number of means-tested scholarships to students of families who seek a Steiner education but face financial constraints to attaining it. The school benefits by attracting students of potential and character to be part of our community and allows us to fulfill our responsibility of inclusion.
Scholarships are offered to new students entering Kamaroi from Year 1 onwards and availability will be based on existing capacity within individual year groups. The scholarships offer remission of part of the annual tuition fees but do not include the class materials fee or other incidental charges. The scholarship will initially be offered for a three year period.
Applicants are required to complete an application form and will then proceed to an interview if successful at the initial stage. The initial application seeks information about the student’s academic achievements, involvement in cultural activities and their participation in community activities. Importantly, the school seeks to understand how a Steiner education will be of benefit to the child.
Applications will open for entry in the 2026 school year at the beginning of 2025 and must be submitted by Friday May 30th, 2025. Interviews will take place during the first half of Term 3, 2025, and successful applicants will be notified by Friday 19th September, 2024. All applications are subject to the standard enrolment requirements of the school. Acceptance of an offer will require payment of the non-refundable enrolment fee, payment of which confirms acceptance of the scholarship.
