Our Parent Craft Group now meets each Tuesday morning to create beautiful Steiner-inspired toys and other handicrafts. Those not made for the creator’s family are sold to raise funds at the annual School Fair and Christmas markets.
Over the course of a year, parents knit, crochet or sew toy animals and dolls. They hand dye natural fibers, including wool, muslin and silk. They learn to make needle-felted characters, wet felt play mats, pictures and woodwork toys.
This is a good way to meet others within the community, whilst developing or expanding new skills.
